Description

These are basal-rosette, perennial succulents. There are about 40 species which are low growing they have oval, narrow leaves. The flowers are produced in panicles which will bloom in shades of yellow, white or red. They are frost tender, min 7C, and will require full sun with very well drained soil. You can water sparingly when the plants are semi dormant in mid summer. Propagation is by seeds or division in the spring or summer.
