Description

This genus consists of about 3 or 4 species of evergreen, woody based perennials, they produce small furry white flowers. It is ideal for a alpine house in areas where summers are cool. It is frost to half hardy and will need sun and gritty well drained, peaty soil. You can propagate by seeds when fresh or by softwood cuttings in late spring or early summer.
