Description

This genus consists of about 50 species of low rounded cacti with shallow sometimes spirally arranged ribs, The ribs are slightly curved and rather sparse, and they will produce funnel-shaped flowers which are large for the size of the plants. They are frost tender, min 5-10C and will need full sun or partial shade with very well drained soil. You can propagate by seeds or offsets in the spring or summer.
