Description

There are about 10 species of epiphytic or terrestrial freely branching cacti. They will produce pendulous, jointed stems with thick yellow, pink or red funnel-shaped flowers. The flowers are followed by pale white or yellow berries. Frost tender, min 10-11C. Requires partial shade and very well drained soil. Keep damp in summer; water a little in winter. Propagate by stem cuttings in spring or summer.
