Description

This species contain evergreen shrubs which have very dense foliage, and are about 4m tall.

Flattened heads of white flowers from December to April provide colour and interest in the winter and early spring.  They are followed by dark blue-black fruit. This lovely, long-flowering plant is perfect for brightening partly shady areas when little else is in flower. Reliable and easy-to-grow, the dark green foliage provides a dense backdrop against which ornamental or feature plants can more easily be seen.  This plant is grown in open gardens, shrub borders or even as informal hedging.

Viburnum tinus `Lucidum` produces a mass of pure white flowers.
