Description

This genus consists of annuals, biennials, perennials and deciduous sub-shrubs, which are grown for their deep pink to white flowers in the summer. they are fully to frost hardy, and will tolerate sun or shade with moist but well drained soil. You can propagate the species by seeds in the autumn, or selected forms by softwood cuttings from side-shoots in the spring.
