Description

This genus consists of densely branched trailing, perennials which are sometimes shrubby succulents, some with tuberous roots. The leaves are borne in opposite pairs. The flowers are disc-shaped brightly coloured and will bloom in the summer. They are frost tender, min 5C, and will require full sun and very well drained soil. You can propagate by seeds or stem cuttings in the spring or summer.
